Slider 1: Elevator trim
Improvements:
- More accurate supercharger performance
- More accurate jet engine thrust
- Reworked propellar performance (thrust to weight rework).
- Plane now runs on jet fuel instead of battery, meaning weight will actually decrease as you burn fuel.
- Reworked empty and wet weight.
- Added engine noise
- Added engine contrails at high altitude
- Added jet engine exhaust smoke
The landing gear still won’t turn the aircraft on the ground.. I’m still trying to fix that. Once I do, there will be a V3
You only need about 40% throttle if taking off with all 10 engines. If you’re using the props only, you need at least 85% throttle
Theres probably a few more tweaks i forgot to mention. Im constantly tweaking my planes to make them more historically accurate

@Ellios use the joy sticks. Sometimes it gets weird if you use the throttle slider

@OrionTechnologies two turning, two burning, two smoking, two choking and two more unaccounted for!

@Madrat simulated.. lol the 6 radial engines on the peacemaker don’t make full power until above 25,000ft. At sea level they make roughly 80% of full power. Since the props make up about 60% of the overall horsepower, you lose a significant amount of speed and burn more fuel down low

Nice work! Can you make YB-49 or XB-35 next? They are quite similar in wing shape and size

Make a version with bombs not a nuke
