Description

The M4 Sherman medium tank was designed for the US Army in WWII. First seeing service in 1942, the United States produced and used the Sherman until 1957 in Korea. The M4 Sherman's most prominent weapon was the 75mm M3 cannon. Other variants utilized 76mm and 105mm cannons, with the Israelis upgrading Sherman tanks to the M50 and M51 variants, using 90mm cannons. The M4A2 variant of Sherman was powered by a GM 6046 Diesel engine, and the hull of it was welded, as opposed to the cast hull of the M4A1. A total of 8,053 M4A2s were produced from 1942-1944 and was the most numerous of all Sherman tank variants. The M4 Sherman was named after William Tecumseh Sherman, a US Union Army General in the American Civil War. The M4A2 I have built mounts the 75mm M3 cannon, and makes use of the VVSS (Vertical Volute Suspension System).

@Lamsongames the tracks constitute another 1600 parts. It’s not counted since they aren’t connected to the tank. Lol
