This is the heavy lift rocket that I designed to complete the contract that unlocks the large DSC launch pad. I figured to make the craft capable of delivering a 1kt payload to orbit, rather than just making the craft itself 1kt at the time of orbit to be more in line with the spirit of the contract. That block on the top of the third stage is Gloob; a 1kt weight standing in as a payload. Gloob is fat. Gloob likes being launched into orbit. Help Gloob.
Given that rockets for big contracts are starting to get expensive, I started some impromptu experimentation with returning the third stage to the surface and saving some money.
This rocket uses a recycled version of my previous automatic launch steering script, altered to suit the rocket, so simply launch the rocket and wait for the orbit to finish circularizing.

30 HeartFoam
I can't help but notice the name. :) My Pixie Dust is so called because it only uses Pixie engines, even on the launch pad.
Great rocket. does what it says on the tin. The sun glinting off the gold paint looks really good.
@HeartFoam Thanks! I was convinced nobody would have ever used the name before. It's funny that someone who happens to have used it runs into my post out of nowhere XD
