For our fellow aviators, we introduce this helpful visual aid for your airfield! It helps guide you into a 3-degree approach into your airfield's touchdown zone (for your convenience, you can download THIS sandbox which has two VASI already in place).
How it works: On final approach (assuming your aircraft is at the correct airspeed for approach-to-land) look at the color given by the VASI. If it is:
-Green: You are on a roughly 3-degree aproach, follow this and you will continue on the correct glidepath.
-Yellow: Too high, you will land beyond the touchdown zone, experience bouncing on landing and possibly run out of runway before stopping fully.
-Red: Too LOW! you might crash, or float excessively beyond the touchdown zone, and finally land with little runway left to brake.

@Kell I'm more partial to PAPI myself, or at least used to them, I've always wanted to see a tri-color VASI but I haven't come across one yet. I did like the simplicity of the VASI for our use in the game, but maybe later on I might try making a PAPI
