The largest and fastest propeller driven aircraft ever built by Hyperion, the Star Clipper, affectionately known as "Stella," was the pride and joy of many of Droo's airlines throughout the 1950s and early 1960s. Built to haul passengers or cargo on long, transcontinental or transoceanic flights, the Star Clipper's most noted feature was its enormous flight deck, where a crew of six could lounge and watch the world go by through the large, six-piece panoramic windscreen. However, because it cost more than its rival, the Lockheed Constellation, at the time, the Star Clipper didn't sell as well as the builders had hoped, and production was ceased in 1959.

something like a collaboration between hyperion and ABSOLUTE in an attempt to build a plane that lasts forever thanks to its cheap manteinance and price plus the simplicity

@HyperionEnterprises the engines i developed, as irl turboprops, dont generate thrust with the engine core but with the prop so the speeds i get are close to those on the piston version, however i think that the engines i built would fit better on planes such as a beech king air or similar ones, can i upload it public? i think that you will get some people to download the originals and gain certain status on the community

@Livingg017 Yeah, it was never designed with turboprops in mind; I just kept the engines throttled low enough to sustain level flight. Another thing you could do is add more weight to the front to stop the upward pitching, but that means at low speeds, you're wrestling with 50 tonnes of aircraft that wants to nosedive into the ground.

@HyperionEnterprises i have been working on the comet and i have to say it isnt easy, i redesigned the engines wings and elevators and first of all my engines ended up being small but sufficiently powerful, the plane is stable around 100m/s and around 140 m/s the plane tends to pitch up like crazy i had to remake the gear…

@Livingg017 I figured as much. Later, I’ll fix the prop size on the Super Comet.

@Livingg017 Those are cool ideas honestly. I say shoot for it.
