Crimson Ghost is a fully reusable rocket developed by Horizon Aerospace, capable of delivering 30 metric tons to LEO.

Crimson lifted off on June 3rd at 4:45 pm CT from Pad 31. All 7 Wolf engines ignited beginning our flight to space. The booster flew through all of its objectives perfectly during ascent. The 2 stages separated about 2 1/2 minutes into flight and the vacuum optimized Wolf engine propelled the payload into orbit. The booster lit one center and two outer engines and flipped around on its way to a soft splashdown. About 6 minutes into flight the booster relit those same engines for its reentry burn. The 4 hypersonic grid fins guided the booster to re designated landing spot. About a minute later came the landing burn where the booster ignited three engines then 1 for a soft splashdown.

The second stage reached orbit and deployed its payload. It did not make a reentry or landing attempt and will reenter the atmosphere over the ocean in a week.

One of the engines on the booster was recovered and tested and will be flown on flight 2.

A heavy variant of this will come soon, along will Horizon IFT-4 and 6.

The Only thing it needs is a landing gear upgrade! (You can use normal ones and make them larger, then rotate them inwards so they're not as bulky)
