The Delta II rocket was a highly accomplished medium-lift launch vehicle in U.S. space history. Debuting in 1989, it executed 155 missions over 30 years with a success rate exceeding 99%, earning the nickname "space taxi." Featuring a two-stage liquid design with solid boosters, it launched the Spirit and Opportunity Mars rovers and numerous GPS satellites. Its iconic Delta Blue livery and legendary reliability profoundly advanced deep space exploration before its honorable retirement in 2018.
I've made some adjustments to the previous design, which have essentially resolved the issue of the rocket tumbling in flight. I've also reduced the size of the rocket—it now stands about 40 meters tall. As I'm still a beginner, I hope you can understand and bear with me.
