Be warned, jet engines will very quickly run out of fuel after drop tank is jettisoned, and the craft will explode rapidly after surpassing around mach 6. If you wish to reach Mach 7 you will need to go into the outer atmosphere where you will very briefly be able to reach the speed without detonation.
