My first successful solar plane, and my fifth attempt ever at building a solar powered aircraft. (I know, i'm pretty bad at this.) However, due to cough, past building experiences, I actually got this craft done quite quickly (approx. 4 hours) This craft features a large battery with 14.7 GJ of power and reusable launch components.
ON TAKEOFF:
Throttle up, pitch up hard. Wait untill you reach 70 kph then press space. If you are having trouble launching, press space again to pull yourself off the ground. Use A and D keys to steer while on the ground.
WHILE FLYING:
Use WQSE keys for pitch and roll. Yaw isn't really essensial while flying. Use slider 1 to adjust trim, which you will need, because this plane tends to pitch down a lot.
