Chinese Space Station Phase I project

The space station is designed to carry three people for a long period of time. In the operation phase, manned spacecraft will carry out personnel rotation every six months, and in the initial phase, intermittent visits will be adopted. Once completed, the manned space station will become an important base for China's space science and new technology research and experiments, and will operate in orbit for more than 10 years.

空间站拟按长期载3人状态设计，运营阶段每半年由载人飞船实施人员轮换，而初期将采用人员间断访问方式。载人空间站建成后，将成为中国空间科学和新技术研究实验的重要基地，在轨运营10年以上。

ChinaSpaceStation (Tiangong SpaceStation) is a space station system under construction by the People's Republic of China and is expected to be completed around 2022. The space station has an orbital altitude of 400~450 kilometers, an inclination Angle of 42~43 degrees, a designed life span of 10 years, a long-term residence of three people, and a total weight of 180 tons for large-scale space applications. In 1992, the Chinese government formulated a "three-step" development strategy for its manned space program, of which the completion of a space station is an important goal.

中国空间站（英文：ChinaSpaceStation，又称：天宫空间站）是中华人民共和国建设中的一个空间站系统，预计在2022年前后建成。空间站轨道高度为400~450公里，倾角42~43度，设计寿命为10年，长期驻留3人，总重量可达180吨，以进行较大规模的空间应用。1992年，中国政府就制定了载人航天工程“三步走”发展战略，建成空间站是发展战略的重要目标。
