Dongfeng-2 ballistic missile (Code: DF-2, NATO Code: css-1, series model: dongfeng-2a) is a land-based mobile medium and short-range ballistic missile equipped by the rocket army of the people's Liberation Army, the first ballistic missile developed by China itself, and the first single-stage liquid engine ballistic missile in China.Dongfeng-2 ballistic missile is an enhanced version of dongfeng-1 ballistic missile. Based on dongfeng-1, the propulsion mode is the same. The range is increased to 1300 km, and it can carry a 20000 ton equivalent nuclear warhead.
