The Phenom 1 is an expendable medium-heavy launch vehicle designed and operated by Photonix capable of taking 20 tonnes to LEO.
The launch vehicle is based on the cancelled Arkas K-S rocket, however it improves on the design being cheaper, using less engines and is overall more efficient, with Arkas costing around $1,110/kg and Phenom costing $835/kg.
The first stage uses 2 staged combustion kerolox engines and the upper stage uses a solid motor, the first stage and fairing diameter is 3.5m and the upper stage diameter is 2.75m.
