Gemini manned spacecraft

Gemini series spacecraft is the second generation manned spacecraft of the United States. It has carried out 12 flight tests, including 2 unmanned flights and 10 manned flights. The mercury spacecraft project began in November 1961 and ended in November 1966 for five years. The total cost of Gemini constellation project is 1.283.4 billion US dollars, including 797.4 million US dollars for spacecraft, 409.8 million US dollars for launch vehicles, accounting for 31.93% of the total cost, and 76.2 million US dollars for supporting facilities (56 million US dollars for the transformation of global communication equipment), accounting for 5.94% of the total cost. Gemini project is mainly to provide flight experience and prepare various technical conditions for Apollo manned lunar landing program
