It can dock at any angle and with normal docking ports, but i'd recommend aligning the Power plugs/Alignment petals for that cool factor.

@bjbj666 Actually its in a realistic size, they can barely fit trough it like on the ISS hatches.

nice, but the radius of the docking port is too small, astronaut can't go across it in space(weightless).
