Auto Credit Based on Hannah1212's aEXP Valkyrie 5.0

some text if it fails

Dedicated to Quality Crafts

Programmed by Hannah1212
Designed and Built by DragonTech

The Valkyrie VTOL is the first fully autonomous VTOL aircraft built in SR2. This craft features assisted hover for drone-like flight as well as autopilot to any targeted destination.

Hover Mode Notes (AG2)

Slider 2 for heading/yaw. QWE ASD for other controls. The craft will bring itself to zero velocity.

Autopilot Notes (AG3)

Works smoothest when starting from the ground. Low-end devices may struggle to provide the necessary refresh rate required for the program.

Update

Improved autopilot targeting system.

    Some notes on the update:
It will search for targetable structures within 300km and display them as options to land it if you do t already have a target selected when using the autopilot. Also you can save your current location as an autopilot location. (I think, it’s been a while)

If you already upvoted the original no need to upvote this, I just wanted to post so people can see my work in the profile list.

@DragonTech do you have discord? I wanna talk with you about the program

@Aquaflames4571 Oh, I think I know what you mean. The way vizzy is made, you only need pitch and heading to do things like getting in orbit. If you want roll then it's gonna get a lot more complicated and tbh I barely know myself. Hannah is the one who programmed this btw

    @DragonTech don't think is works
There's only pitch and heading on the vizzy program block

@Aquaflames4571 Using default rocket chip, I'm pretty sure default heading degrees does that? Starting at 90 for straight up.

Does anybody knows how to roll my rockets to it's proper orientation using vizzy?

@DragonTech I'll see if I can get it to work. Seems to work just fine now. I Probably chose a target that was too close.

@HerrFox What device then because if it isn't good enough the refresh rate of values for the program isn't good enough to control the craft.

@DragonTech I've tried doing a short flight from the runway to one of the preset locations and the autopilot freaked out when doing so.

@HerrFox mm tbh I'm not sure why I didn't even bother to turn. The only thing I can think of was that the target was out of range.

@DragonTech I targeted a location that was around 500 km away and then engaged auto pilot (I was in the air when I engaged it). The craft never made an attempt to point at the target. I'm wondering if it's either my device or I didn't do something right.
