The Dera class Zone destroyer is a modern innovation created for 1 purpose, to clear a zone of threats in order to help allied fleets advance, or to help traders, passenger liners, miners, civilians, etc get to their destination safely. This ship is pretty packed, with an arnament of 2 tri barrelled Heavy tungsten CD Turrets, 8 Medium Tri barrelled plasma cannon turrets, several CIWS turrets, 2 Medium Intergrated plasma cannons, 2 las CIWS Disks and 4 Ultra heavy zone cannons, which are capable of doubling over as CIWS and anti warship weaponary without really using much hydrogen for plasma (these turrets rely mostly on impact (speed)and heat damage), making them efficient and effective in clearing a zone or area. This destroyer on paper is capable of doing and performing multiple tasks as well as its primary one, making it pass the prototype phase well. This ship also gets its name from Terrius's outermost moon, Dera.
