(K)"This is captain Kaeya of the U.U.N Juggernaut, no unusual activity on radar"

(B)"This is Captain Bjorner of the U.U.N Senator, we have some unkown contacts, 8 to be precisd targets are approximately 50km away at heading 47 degrees, judging by size they seem like fighters"

(H)"This is Rear Admiral Hutchins, fighter Squadron, investigate the unknown contacts and let us know what they are"

(M)"Roger that Rear Admiral Hutchins"

The Squadron sees 7 light fighters and 1 corvette belonging to a neighboring mining faction, Delta Mining Corps, who mainly sell metal to militaristic factions and fortify their territory, they aren't known for Conquest or militarism

(M)"This is Squadron Leader Mari of the Ulimar Union, you have ventured onto Union Territory, identify yourselves or risk being detained"

(U)"This is Squadron leader Ulan of the 31st Fighter Squadron, of Delta Mining Corps, we mean no harm we come as messengers, we have important Intel we request to be escorted to your closest station"

(M)"I want to hear this Intel, yet why not bother sending It across the conventional comm systems? Or even send a diplomat or some official over?"

(U)"We can't risk espionage, someone may tap into the frequency, as for your other question I shall answer that at the station"

(M)(thinks)[well if that isn't suspicious...what could be so important that they want to tell us in person rather than over the comm? Is it the Ultaheim Feds? The Confederecy? The gosh darn f●cking league of Entrinar or whatever?...it can't be that bad...she cant be carrying such important intel...this is hyperbolic behaviour, this could very well be a station infiltration...]

(M)"I request to know what on person Firearms and weapons your Pilots have...lying won't get you any place nice"

(U)"Alright"

(U)"This is Squadron Leader Ulan, we only have some basic survival spring action pistols, nothing that could kill in an instant"

(M)"Acknowledged, await at your positions, I need to contact the Rear Admiral"

(H)"Squadron leader, what is the situation?"

(M)"Rear Admiral, the contacts are the 31st fighter squadron of Delta Mining Corps...they say they have an important message and request us to escort them and for docking clearance at the nearest station...yet something is just fishy"

(H)"Squadron Leader Mari, you needn't worry, if they try anything funny we can fry them faster than a Type-O star..."

Eventually, the 31st Squadron is escorted and given docking clearance at a Union barracks outpost

(M)"Alright, what is this Intel you say you wanted to tell us?"

(U)"Ok, the nearby ocean planet of Baxtor, essentially, that world was once used for Reconnaissance for the Remnants, used for reconnaissance missions, unfortunately some citizens had rebelled and overthrew the local government, they now call themselves the Baxtor Imperium and aee producing ships at a really high margin-"

(H)"Hold on...how are they doing that? Baxtor only really had 1 shipyard"

(U)"They are forcing the shipbuilding AI on Overdrive...hence the high rate, the involvement of Autonomous production, nonetheless, the Baxtor Imperium is very hostile towards its neighbours and had taken some of our Territory, they have a foothold here, and once they weakened us enough you will be next...we might as well partner up and fight them to keep them out until the remnants deal with them..."

(M)"With all due respects...I doubt that'll happen anytime soon, the remnants are too fixed on trying to cripple the Ultaheim Federation or even the Confederates to get the upper hand in taking over the system, they will treat this like a pimple...as if it'll go away...yet no...it won't, also why they send you instead of an official?"

(U)"if they sent an official...the Baxtorians would hunt us and the message wouldn't be conveyed, if they sent someone less suspicious, me, the message would be convey-"

Alarm blares, the Baxtor Imperium sent a fleet of frigates to attack the barracks

(U)"Son of a...grrgh...how the hell did they track us? Nonetheless we will aid you in this fight, these guys use lots of missiles on their turrets, your CIWS gunners will have a field day!"

(H)"CIWS you say? The Uminaras we pilot have a lot of those..."

Ulminara Class Missile Frigate

The Ulminara Class Missile Frigates is one of the most produced warships of the Ulimar Union, and for a good reason, it balances good offense with defence while using plasma turrets to keep sustained fire and is one of the fastest vessels of Mankind as a whole, pretty much making it be able to outrun anything if given the chance. Although originally designed for anti cap and offencive purposes should threats arise, this ships versatility has made it become a pretty common site and commonly used ship against the Baxtor Imperium conflict, being used in a variety of roles, from area denial, long range bombardment/strikes, troop escort, reconnaissance, Orbital bombardment, station destruction (only in large numbers), anti fighter missions and anti capital warship roles, making the Baxtor Imperium put a large bounty of the captains of these frigates (not just these frigates, likely more warships that prove to be a real pain, could they pay all these bounties you ask? Nope...) to try intimidate the Union Navy. This ship is armed with 8 dual barrelled frigate grade medium plasma turrets, 2 frigate grade, long-range heavy missiles, 12, 10 barrelled ciws turrets and 2 intergrated Kinetic projectile cannons, all of which have proven themselves in real combat scenarios.

Lore

Beginning on the lava world of Ulimar, the Ulimar Union was founded by the remaining experimental hab cities and orbital Populace of Ulimar in order to try have some for of order within the shattering. The Unions first goal was to claim as much territory within the nearby asteroid belt as possible to ensure the security of resource and financial income as well as not being on a political chopping block (despite living on a metal rich magma ball) and to ensure they aren't choked and conquered by neighboring, the Union has claimed a large portion (21% of the Belt territory) of the belt and are selling a large portion of metals to major factions, like the Neridor Confederacy and Ultaheim Federation to ensure they won't be cooked by them (sort of like selling mines to one nation and selling mine detectors to its rival) in the long run, ensuring long term survival and a large weight off the Union senators chests. Currently the Union finds itself in a conflict with the Baxtor Imperium, a militaristic expansionist faction born from rebellion, it is theorized the Baxtorians want to secure resource income to build a larger military to become more powerful (and to become more politically recognizable), fortunately, the Union and their neighbour, the Delta Mining Corps, have been in an alliance to take on the baxtor empire I order stop their invasion efforts.

Which is an old design (the exposed reactors still give me some anxiety) yet it still can work against more technologically advanced warships (even with the exposed reactors)
