Swissair Airbus A310 (Scrap condition)

This classic Airbus A310-322 (ex-Swissair, HB-IPM) stands as one of the surviving relics of 1980s European aviation. The aircraft retains its original Swissair livery — faded, chipped, and weathered through decades, but still recognizable by the red tail and white cross .

Technical condition:

Landing gear bay: stuck

Interior: Decent — mostly intact 1980s Swissair cabin layout; original seats still there, some fabric worn

Plane status: Can go in full flight

Flight capability: Technically “can fly,” but unsafe for full flight due to system corrosion and hydraulic leaks

Roleplay or movie prop: Perfect for movie scenes, airport display, or plane crash setup

🧠 Fun Fact about HB-IPM:
HB-IPM was the 10th A310 delivered to Swissair back in 1983 and served for 15 years on routes like Zurich – Montreal and Zurich – Cairo. After retirement, it was stored in Zurich, then later used as a ground training aircraft. The nose section was rumored to be sold to a collector in France before being preserved as a static display piece
