A low part, functional M61A1 Vulcan cannon that can be used as a module (subassembly) for fighter jets, based off the real life Vulcan cannon. It comes in a shrouded and non-shrouded variant, and can destroy most targets if a sustained direct hit is achieved. For simplicity and ease of use, the cannon has 6 small engines that actively has guns activate and deactivate in a carousel motion to mimic the rotation of the real gun, without the rotating mechanisms.
Instructions:
Step 1: Save as a subassembly
Step 2: Drag from subassembly onto your fighter jet or vehicle of choice
Step 3: For fighter jets, it is best to offset and rotate the cannon so that the large drum and gun belt are inside of the plane. Also be sure theres no rotation at all, so it faces absolutely straight where you plan to aim.
Step 4: Set the name for Activation Group 10 to be "Gun". This is the Activation Group you will press to activate and deactivate the gun. Alternatively, you can edit the Activation Group in the vizzy code of the command chip of the cannon, if you want the gun to activate with a different Activation Group.
Step 5: Have fun!
⚠️KNOWN BUGS:
Cannon may inadvertently destroy a part of the vehicle it is attached to for seemingly no reason, which can lead to RUD. When this happens, either move the cannon to a spot where it no longer destroys any parts (it may take some time to find the ideal spot), or disable collisions for the part that keeps getting destroyed. Once you fix the issue, it shouldn't resurface again.
Sometimes when attaching the cannon, the firing mechanism may not work correctly, leaving one barrel of the gun continuously firing after activating and deactivating the gun. If so, ensure no other parts are using the same activation group as it, and if needed, detach the cannon delete it, and add a new subassembly of the same cannon onto the vehicle of choice. This should fix the issue permanently.

I mean, you can do that with any texture, using the default one for everything just looks kind of lazy...

@VoidAerospace my builds are meant to be relatively low part and simple and I leave the default textures, so one may be able to customize the craft or module to fit their own artistic desires or purposes.

@VoidAerospace Damn thats not really nice
Instead of appreciating theres a working cannon, youre hyperfixating on a texture that you can change if you have an issue with it. If not, youre just here to criticize my design if youre not going to actually try it out
