the entire point of useing the simple trainer was to test a fusion drive small enough for landers. the ion is negative thrust engine. the monoprop in the back is standard thrust, less powerful, so useful for zero g maneuvering. it also comes with a monoprop generator. the back engine and monoprop geny are set to ag2 for simplicity. the plane isnt heat shielded as it is the basic simple trainer, and all i did to it was remove the jet and added chutes in its place as an e brake of sorts.it will go fast enough to explode as is. i set the drive on a side Interstage so its easy to make a subassembly of. i am still working on a xenon generator, but with the way i set these up,it really wont run out of fuel any time soon. i know its not much but if you want to make a small lander or shuttle have interplanetary capabilities, this is a pretty simple option. and the ag for the engines can always be changed to your crafts needs. the monoprop genny is an rcs i tinkered and its just behind the pixy engine.and obviously its NOT career mode friendly lol.

This is just one of a few configurations I'm planning and I'll refine as I go to make it look a bit snazzy later.im hoping to make a few different configurations to accommodate different craft designs. This one is a side mount.
