After adding a 1000kg dead weight to the fairings to stabilize the second stage, I have managed to achieve an impossible goal in this: getting the space center to nuke itself. Almost achieve orbit, and while falling through the atmosphere with a perigee of 9.8km, I aimed the warhead up, increasing perigee to 15km. After passing through the perigee I then aimed the warhead down to bring the apogee down to impact at roughly the space center, but the I had to aim at prograde to avoid the mountains. Then I aimed directly down and managed to hit a CEP of 50km from the space center. So essentially you just invented the world’s first Kinetic Energy Aircraft, flying Mach 10.96 upon atmospheric entry and only losing .33 Mach to manuever to target for an additional 3000km of range. This is essentially what my A9 does but 10 levels crazier by aerodynamically flying itself to the target. It’s w/o a doubt the craziest aircraft I’ve ever flown.
