ULA Vulcan Centaur Medium/Heavy Lift Rocket

Features:

Enough Delta-V to reach an orbit within 50,000km of the Sun
A powerful rocket with a small radio satellite on top of the Centaur Stage
A Launch Pad and Strongback (There are moving supports that retract before launch at T-5)
A modified version of KAL to operate the pad and connectors to the rocket.

If and when we have to pay for rocket launches in career mode, this is the heavy duty rocket for you.

Flight Procedure:
1. Throttle to full to initiate countdown for launch
2. At T-5, vehicle systems go internal. The Strongback supports pull away, leaving only the hold-down clamps and the 1st/2nd stage umbilicals attached.
3. At T-0, Rocket Engines ignite.
4. Once engines are fully spun up, the clamps and umbilicals release, send the Vulcan flying upwards.
5. Side SRB’s are jettisoned as soon as they run out of fuel. They are NOT recoverable.
6. The Vulcan 1st Stage can reach GTO easily. Then, stage and activate the Centaur 2 upper stage to finalize the burns. If you do not recover the 1st stage, it can propel the second stage to Cylero or even Tydos.
