The ZDK-03 AWACS Aircraft (Pakistani Air Force code: Karakoram Eagle) is a medium-sized early warning command aircraft jointly developed and exported to Pakistan by China Aviation Industry Corporation Shaanxi Aircraft Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. The aircraft is based on the Y-9 transport plane and uses four turboprop engines. Equipped with a circular antenna cover (approximately 8.5 meters in diameter), it is equipped with an electronically scanned active phased array radar (or mechanically scanned pulse Doppler radar). Designed and optimized high-altitude performance and reserved upgrade interfaces. A total of 4 aircraft are in service with the Pakistan Air Force since 2010.
