The J-20S is a new-generation medium-to-long-range, heavy-duty, two-seat, multi-role fifth-generation stealth fighter developed by China, and also the world's first officially unveiled two-seat fifth-generation fighter.
It adopts a tandem two-seat design and is equipped with the WS-15 engine. It boasts excellent medium-to-long-range air combat capabilities, precision strike capabilities against ground and sea targets, as well as prominent situational awareness, electronic jamming and tactical command-and-control capabilities. The rear-seat pilot can be dedicated to sensor scheduling, weapon control and commanding UAV formations; it can serve as a small air-based command platform to realize the coordinated combat mode of "manned aircraft command + UAV strike/deception".
