*as built it cannot fly on KAL 1.2.1. It flips out trying to do a grav turn. It's got problems with weight distribution. A gyro, or fins might be a band aid. But for light payloads it's not great.
It can fly straight and true, rock steady, no flipping out, with a 50t dummy payload. The catch is that with a payload heavy enough to settle the rocket, it no longer gets to stable orbit with stage 1. Then you're on stage 2 -- which has tons of d-v -- but TWR is 0.2, and it can't be used to circularise. So it can't lift a heavy payload either.
