LIAM tiny (affectionately also: the sundae (?) Ice in cup ) is a fully non-tinkered colonist shuttle for Mars designed for maximum efficiency (number of passengers/craft mass) and cheap production/maintenance costs.
Essential for such a craft is the ability to return to surface from orbit without refueling.
So this craft is extremely practical as you can see, very easy to board and leave. For up to 4 colonists (up and down) and the brave pilot.
Includes cocktail bar now. And VIP lounge. Perfect view on Mars due to newest transparent metal technology.
Landing is as follows:
- deorbit
- down to 50km altitude
- brake to 500m/s
- activate the landing program with AG5
Only 2% fuel left when landed!
Tested on Mars with HyperPatch Solar System 2.0.
