The Oikawa C (Compact) is a fictional European (German-Russian) heavy-lift space launch vehicle developed and operated by DuSCO Aeronautics and Aerospace, Energia, and Airbus for the European Space Agency (ESA) from 2029. Launched from the Guyana Space Center in French Guiana and the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. It is the first DuSCO liquid-fueled launch rocket after 38 years of the original "Oikawa" rocket series, and it is also the first DuSCO rocket to run on liquid hydrogen and liquid methane for the second stage.
The director of DuSCO AA said this would be the first of four "Oikawa Neo" rockets, two of which are for unmanned purposes such as bringing satellites into orbit, and two more used for manned purposes such as transporting humans to the space station or the moon.
