This is a moon rocket that I have spent the last few onths working on and designing. I found put that you dont have to have 20 stages and 100+ rockets to geet to the moon. Compare it with my Pegasus Rocket. The Modified Atlas Rocket launches a lander and CSM(CM=Command module SM=Servise module). To get to the moon Launch from any site on Droo and get in to an orbit of 200-250 Km. Then extentend your orbit so it matches the moons orbit. Time Warp until the moon is close enough to make some orbit burns . Once you are in a safe Lunar orbit detach your Atlas rockets. Want for the solid fuel booster to pull it away and then dock with the lander by jettisoning the fairings. I like to dock by drifting a few feet away set your heading with out RCSs on and Tome Warping to turn then use RSCs to dock. Choose a point in your orbit to start the landing. Transfer the 1 Astronote to the lander detach and set your heading to retro burn. Fire the engines until you are on a collision coures and wait until you are at 10,000 m. Fire your engine to slow down and land. Walk around on the moon and have fun(or not). The takeoff is the hardest part. Match your orbit with capsule catch up with it and then dock. Transfer your Astronote to the capsule and get rid of the LM. Then use the SM engines to set you on a course with earth(or Droo). Please let me know if there are any bugs or problems. Also please tell me how I can make the capsule float in the water. Thanks for reading and have fun.
