You should try control without RCS. To do it you can place the engines on 3 hinges each. For roll, one side rotates laterally to create a thrust differential. For yaw, both front engines tilt in one direction while the rear tilts in the opposite direction. Then for pitch front or rear engines tilt out laterally.
