The TVTA-1 (Target Velocity Test Article-1) is the largest test vehicle ive ever made, Using a total of 8 onboard engines mounted under the wing in pods, the TVTA-1 can reach a top speed of around 400m/s.
it is the test aircraft for the Future SSTO BeaconIndustries had recommended to me, it uses the same engines that will be used for the flight section of the mission on the SSTO.
The TVTA-1 has a passenger capacity, and can carry up to 150 passengers in total.
using technologies i would not usually use in a test vehicle, such as rotatable canards on the front to ease landings with the vehicle, and slowed down reaction of control surface input to 20%, allowing for a more stable flight.
the TVTA-1 vehicle requires up to 3 pilots inside its cockpit at all times, helping to maintain navigation systems, aswell as throttle response.
the nose is inspired by NASA's X-59, of which i was able to view the live reveal of online at the time.
the engine configuration is largely inspired by that of the B-58 hustler.
hope you all enjoy.
