CW Refuel Truck Jetfuel

Part of the mining/refining project for Colonizing worlds.

The RT-J is a jetfuel refueling truck that can hold up to 200 tonnes of fuel. Dock the truck with the refinery using the fuel transfer dock located on the back to fill the tanks (using the normal fuel transfer system).

To refuel a vehicle deploy the fuel arm, target the receiving fuel dock on the vehicle to be refueled, and move the base of the boom (the large red part at the fuel boom base) in front of the fuel docks face, with enough space for the fuel boom to maneuver itself. The connection is very forgiving and doesn’t need to be at a perfect straight on angle; it can successfully connect at up to 50 degree angles to the recieving fuel dock. Drive into position and use slider 1,2,3 to rotate/raise the fuel arm to where it needs to go. As long as the receiving fuel dock is targeted the truck will give feedback if its in range or if its to close to the receiving fuel dock.

Once in range you can manualy connect the fuel boom, or turn on the auto connect action group. The auto connect will then autonomously connect the fuel boom to the recieving fuel dock. Once connected transfer fuel using the games standard fuel transfer. After completed select either the boom offload dock or the receiving fuel dock and disconnect the fuel boom as with any docked ships.

The recieving fuel dock is any standard 25% size docking port, make sure you add it to your ship to be refueled, and its connected to the fuel tanks, or connected via fuel lines. The dock can be on top, or on the bottom if you have a really tall ship with long landing struts, on the sides, or any angle in between. As long as the boom can reach it, it will connect to it.

Load the refueling trucks on the Artemis heavy transport or one of your own delivery vehicles to get it off Droo.

Action Groups:
-AG 1 - external lights
-AG 2 - interior lights
-AG 3 - cabin door
-AG 4 - deploy/retract fuel arm
-AG 5 - auto connect fuel boom

Controls:
-roll - turn left/right
-pitch - move forward/reverse
-break - set breaks (have breaks set when refueling)
-slider 1 - rotate fuel arm base
-slider 2 - raise/lower first arm joint
-slider 3 - raise/lower second arm joint

Contols used for manual connecting only:
-Translate right - move fuel boom right/left
-Translate up - move fuel boom up/down
-Translate forward - extend/retract fuel boom
