sorry for reposting but i've found some baaaaad mistakes from the previous version of the ship, and managed to fix it, including the turn rate.
(again, sorry :c)
other than that, i also changed the RCS position so that its more accurate , and added minor details such as point-defense turrets
notes:
• always activate Locked Heading
• max safe ascend throttle input is 25%.
• use translation mode controls for precision manouvering & descend
• be cautious when exiting atmosphere, i recommend putting the throttle to 20% or less, or the RCS will get heat damage.
• improved enjin!
The Compact Capability Combat Cruiser (CCCC) Leander-class/variant are simplified Hood-class battlecruisers that either underwent redesign during production, or ones that are already in active service and then underwent refits. Reusing scavenged part from the plentyful wrecks and unusable D-class battleships, as the Gatlantean war ended with Earth's time fault shipyard being destroyed, which significantly reducing the UNCF's warship production rate.
Similar to Hood-class, The hull structure of the Leander can be considered a bigger version of the simultaneously developed Pacific-class, and it's thought that one design was derived from the other to improve productivity.
After the war's end with Gatlantean race wiped out, earth once again in need of ships that won't burn much taxpayer money. And once again, the Leander project re-activated again.
These are basically simplified version of the Hood-class battlecruiser, with better dual-purpose turrets, point-defense system from D-class, room for extra auxiliary craft, and a newer WMG, at the cost of less missile capacity and less specialized point defense turrets.
These ships are favored as light flagships for destroyer fleets, leading charges towards the enemy and outmanouver them. Other than that, they were used for patrol, escort, and scouting.
Your ships are to scale aye? Also pics 3 and 4 are my favourites
