The B-55 Is a Supersonic bomber designed and manufactured by BeaconIndustries in the early 50s as part of it's contract with the US-airforce. This plane uses the same BXE-250 engines later used on the Supersonic airliners SIA-250/500 allowing It to reach Speeds above mach 3 [mach 3-3.7 witthout payload].This bomber stayed in service from 1951 all the way to 1972.
DETAILS: This bomber Is meant to deliver a single[optionally more] nuclear bomb into enemy territory eliminating airfields and cities while avoiding interception thanks to
it's Speed wich remained unmatched by most Planes.
This bomber can take off at low speeds[40m/s ish] allowing It tò quickly take off from short runways and fly tò it's determined target.
It's range whittout payload Is around 1100km.
The bomber Is quite agile for it's size and Is meant tò fly from 2000 tò 10000m [ highier If It needs tò].
