VOS AEROSPACE PRESENTS: THE PERSEUS

Welcome to the next generation of Vos Aerospace Spacecraft. Following our traditional mission, this launch vehicle and orbital stage are designed with minimalism and simplicity in mind. Here at VA, we try to keep rockets plain and simple, so as to make them as easy to fly as possible as well as make sure that they can be flown by anyone, anywhere, and on any machine.

Introduction to the rocket:

Just as Persues, the demi-god from Ancient Greek Mythology, ventured out into the unknown aboard his ship Argo, Vos Aerospace is proud to present the Perseus Crew Platform (PCP). In the current configuration, it sits atop a Vos Aerospace Argo First and second stage.

The Mission:

Designed to be flown for a variety of different mission types, the Perseus platorm is capable of any mission ranging from LEO station supply runs to Luna/Brigo Crew Transfers.

The Specs:

Big rocket, big power, big boom if crash
Also 7 Astronauts, range depends on how good of a pilot you are.
Easy to fly in atmosphere, but don't be an idiot. It's not the manufacturer's fault if you just can't fly.

The Argo:

Originally conceived as a GEO-capable cargo vehicle, the Argo has been reconfigured to carry the PCP. Housed in a fairing above the second stage, the PCP is shielded and protected from the elements.

1st Stage:

Four Wyvern Engines manufacted by DASA propel the first stage, assisted by another six SRB's mounted radially.

2nd Stage:

A single vacuum-optimised Wyvern (Also from DASA) provides the second burst of thrust needed for orbital insertion.

The Sarcasm:

We take space seriously. There isn't any sarcasm or jokes of any kind here. VA maintains a strictly professional demeanor at all times.
(Seriously though, don't take us too seriously.)

Final Notes:

Just have fun. The VA team will be releasing more details about our next big project in the imminent future, so stay tuned!
