The LV-01 was conceptualized with one goal in mine, versatility. This spacecraft features a sophisticated VIZZY that not only launches this SSTO into orbit, but also allows it to land on most celestial bodies.

The “VTOL Landing Assist” action group locks the heading and stabilizes the roll of the LV-01, allowing it to land on Luna as well as Cylero.

As a challenge, I also compel you to attempt an orbit from the surface of Sergeaa. If you can find the most efficient jet and rocket sequence, you could reach orbit.

Featured Action Group:
- AG7: VTOL Landing Assist

I have modified someone else's SLS to SLS 2b and would love to have a look at it. Please let me know what's wrong or good about it in the comments so that I can improve it in the future, senior please. link

Just a warning, the parachutes are no longer reusable in newer versions of the game.

If you want a variant that can orbit Earth in Real Solar System, and refuel itself in orbit, download the LV-02.

@sacr3dbac0n0 I added engines in the front that fire up until the craft has less that 80% of its fuel. I also added a powerful RCS motor on the front that only fires when the craft has its VTOL engines working.

How you did so much with such little code is difficult for me to understand. Everything about this is perfectly optimized. It really looks like a hypersonic vehicle and handles a lot better than how I would expect such a vehicle to. It is very impressive and nice work as always. All that said, I have one question; how did you balance CoM and DCoM so perfectly? Was it as pain-staking as I'm imagining right now? Usually, for my spaceplanes, I just move my CoL back accordingly and add VTOL trim motors as needed. I am lazy...

Nice one I gotta try it. I've been surprised on how hard a rectangle lander is to remain stable. Looks really nice awesome work.
