The Apex II B is a variation of the cheap and widly produced Apex II MRBM. While the Apex II was made to defend the homeland of any country its sold too, the Apex II B was givin to N.A.S.E.A. while it was still in it’s infancy. N.A.S.E.A. used the Apex II B for suborbital scientific missions. The first ever scientific launch conducted by N.A.S.E.A. was done by the Apex II B.
