A complex mission for examining our close neighbour, this projects is aimed at putting prototype of a "Duna Wing" powered glider in a descent trough Cylero atmosphere with a slightly owerpowered rocket designed according to the ancient law saying "gra acela da gra vesela" which is translated as "More boosters - more fun!"

The minds of Droo decided to send a combo of a glider with an aerospike engine and a relay\science satellite to study the Cylerian surface and enviroment and, probably, gather information required to create a new generation of atmospherical scientific devices, such as proposed R.O.F.L. (Radiation Observer Flying Labalatory). The sattelite in orbut will use it`s telescopes and sensors to study Cylero as well as serve as a relay for later missions.

IMPORTANT: REDUCE THE GLIDER AILERONS!


Flight plan

Firstly, achive orbit around Droo. You will most likely spend the whole first stage there and use the booster partly. Detach fairings. Extend the solar panels and disable the gyro on top of the second stage (white thing below satellite interstage)to reduce electricity consumption.

Then, achieve escape velocity. Aim prograde. If done right, you will achieve an orbit with apoapsis higher than Droo orbit. Then, target Cylero and plan a burn (for me a burn on 2nd loop when Cylero was 150 degrees ahead of me worked) and execute that burn.
When entering Cylero SOI, align your periapsis to an altitude of 30-32 km by burning inward\outward (or retrograde). By that time you will already have the transfer stage expended and stranded in space. Now, aim prograde, retract solars, and hit the atmosphere with your heat shield. Beware: aerocapture below 28 km will likely destroy you
Upon exiting the atmosphere, burn retrograde to finish the aerocapture and achieve orbit with apoapsis right below SOI edge. Extend solar panels again.
At apoapsis, burn prograde\retrograde to put your periapsis at 32 km.
This will be enough to get into 32x250 km orbit. Then, raise your periapsis above the edge of atmosphere (60km).
You will likely have a plenty of fuel left that you may use for futher exploration.

At the dark side of the planet, release the glider and heat shield liftfarm. Switch to the glider and brake to lower your periapsis. Use 1+slider to extend your wings.

Enter the atmosphere and glide.
You may want to disable the ailerons.

Then glide. You may use your engine to brake or try a landing, but most likely, you will crash-land, collecting valuable information about Cyelro atmosphere, surface scans, and a knowlege about new kinds of rapid unscheduled disassembly.
