I present to you LC-1. the Atlantis is my newest rocket that is now overly powerful it can get you to deep space and back.this build is a lot of first for me. firstly, the escape system, and next the complex pad. Who has ever put lights on the pad like this?? NO ONE!!!!!! but now me

DO NOT LAUNCH FROM LAUNCH AREA, RUNWAY OR OPEN FIELD WITH A CUSTOM AREA ONLY
Launch procedures:

1:Make sure look blew to retract crew access arm

2: make sure your heading is slightly off 90 degrees away from tower, i mean a hair tick, 1mm

3: turn off RCS

4: "MOST IMPORTANT" make your your engines are fully operational and are 100% power before launching off of pad... if you dont things will go very badly for you.
Now, controls and flight operations:

Act 1 - fire escape rockets important make sure you have your heading on when you the system and RCS

Act 2 - jettisons escape tower

Act 7 - Drogue chute

Act 8 - Main chute

Tower Operations EASY

Slide Bar 1 UP - Retract crew access arm

this has been a long project, If you find any bugs please let me know ASAP

Credit goes to Kell for the engines, I can’t remember lol. But it’s beeter to be safe than sorry.

@Planefun That won't work because you have tanks, lights... in the base that move the CoM a lot

So to fix that is make evening like fuel lines and everything that is not in the middle have zero mass @pedro16797

Oh.... that’s why it moves on me@pedro16797

@Planefun the thing is that every time you load the craft it's centered based on the CoM

Yeah I always move the command pod to zero. I don’t know if it moved again. The towers do use sem. It’s a base of four @pedro16797

@Planefun Galicia (Spain). It's a pleassure to help anyone here :)
One way to reduce the part count would be using nose cones for that round tank (if you use the part shape tool you can make the tip 2m*2m and it would look almost like a semicircle.
I would also try to use simmetry for those two towers, you can reduce the part count a lot there. And the two small tanks behind he main tower have multiple tanks in the middle instead of just one. Another thing is that the base (the parts with size modified) is not centered, you can just select the parts and in translate center them in mode Self (to make it easier you can first select the command pod in mode connected and move it to x0 z0).

The tower will be rebuilt which will cut on part count. @pedro16797

@Planefun for some of the stages it looks like you're using more than one interstage for the same section, you can add both to the same stage or remove the one that is not visible
For the TWR you can go to the staging section and on the top right click on the dV tab, then you'll see burn time, TWR and dV of every stage. The 1st stage should have around 1.5 and the other stages depending on when and how long they work they should be around 1 or even lower.
A LES can have a big range of TWR, but they tend to have high values. If you try the craft I shared before you can see the values of the engines I changed

Ok so how do I fix it, can you tell me so I can do it? How do I fix the TWR and staging issues? @pedro16797

@Planefun what I was going for was a fix to improve the part count and make it easier to edit the craft using more simmetries, but I don't have time for that sadly

@Planefun some of the stages had too much TWR, some wrong exit pressures

@kell I think I used your engines so I’m going to add credit to you. I’m not sure there was a lot going on during this build and multiple rebuilds and tweaks.

How did you balance the engines? What did I do wrong @pedro16797
