The F-5A Hyper Sabre was the future successor of the F-4 fighter jet series. It was an air superiority fighter at heart, and the flagship fighter jet for Alpha Space Technologies for decades. it featured an astounding top speed of over Mach 4.6, although it unfortunately failed to meet its original goal of mach 5, hence the name Hyper Sabre. The F-5A sabre has some extreme dogfighting potential. it not only has a turn rate unmatched by even propeller planes, but it also carries a 25mm gatling gun, plus space for 10 missiles in its internal weapons bay. Additionally, its fully autonomous functionality allows it to perform in even the most intense dogfights with unmatched performance, and its high roll rate helps ensure its advantage in maneuverability and evasive maneuvers. A more multi-role capable variant of the fighter, named the F-5B Hyper Strike Sabre, with far more attachment points and pylons, would help fill the void of a flexible ground and air attacker.
Specifications:
Top Speed (Dry/Wet): Mach 2.25/Mach 4.6
Max Payload: 10 Air to Air missiles, or 10,000Ibs of ground ordinance as allowed in weapons bay space
Cruising altitude (Dry/wet): 10,000 meters/20,000 meters
Attachment points: 10 (internal weapons bay)
Turn rate (Full fuel/50%/25%): 70°/s, 110°/s, 170°
Take off speed: 70 m/s (Mach 0.2)
TWR at max load (dry/wet): 0.6/0.95
Key strengths of the F-5A Hyper Sabre
Excellent top speed
Excellent turn rate
Great endurance and range
Decent air to air weapons capacity
Powerful 25mm gatling gun cannon
Good roll rate
Good acceleration at lower speeds with afterburners
Key Weaknesses of the F-5A Hyper Sabre
Low TWR at gross weight, ESPECIALLY in dry mode, making it weak in vertical fights.
maneuverability is much less responsive at high altitudes
Plane becomes overly responsive under extremely low weight (under 20% fuel) and can become unstable.
Vertical fights at extremely high speeds are not possible. Doing so will result in suborbital ballistic trajectories that are difficult to recover from during descent.
Payload options are decent but not plentiful for long sorties and combat scenarios.
Enjoy!

@Livingg017 can you send them to me on discord, or on here? I can show you how to optimize by example, if you want

@AlphaSpaceTechnologies i am trying to translate that to the performance results i have seen on my own crafts, in my fastest plane, i am barely able to reach mach 4 using stupidly big engines and the most sharp design i could make

@Livingg017 its because it has very low drag loss. It is a very aerodynamic plane, with no exposed, sharp, or large flat surfaces that go against the airflow. It sacrifices some beauty for raw performance. It also turns very well too.

@AlphaSpaceTechnologies nothing, amazing, i do not understand how is this this fast

@Livingg017 you can check yourself if theres any tinkered or cheated parts

@Livingg017 download it and check it yourself lol, I promise you it does not have size, mass, thrust, drag, or performance tinkers. It only has heat tolerance maxed out so the plane doesnt self combust

@AlphaSpaceTechnologies you can try the HF-01S by yourself, you will see what i am talking about, some parts are tinkered, for exmple the nose, canopy and intakes so they produce 75% of drag, test out all you need
