The Kestral rocket is a small sat launching rocket inspired by RocketLab electron. powered by Talon engine series, it is designed to launch smaller sats into the same orbit as BlackAtlas can. The stage one can be landed using parachutes.
Stage one: powered by 9 Talon-1 engines, it will provide initial thrust to power the ascent, after meco, it can safely descent and splashdown using the parachutes.
Stage Two: powered by a single TalonVac, which have a longer nozzle for better efficiency, it can power the rocket all the way to orbital insertion, and circularization.
Kick Stage: Powered by Talon Kick Stage variant(Talon-K) it will help the payload to reach a higher orbit if needed, acheive precise orbit, and separate the payload. It can be deorbited if you want to.
Notes: stage one will follow the prograde marker because it is top heavy during descent, it would go back to 90 degrees after parachute deploy.
