@MagnumAerospace jets are hard to tweek. There are things that can be done to a point but for speed I go for ions normally. In this case a nuclear motor. I also was toying with it's use in space in case I wanted to modify it for that use. It was also easier to figure out if the rockets worked in zero atmosphere environment. They are not set how I wanted in this post but I figured it out later lol. But you can absolutely use a jet on this, there is a small tinkered tank mounted to the engine, use the move tool to slide it out, set fuel to Jet and replace the nuke with the jet, then move back into place. The intake may need adjusting in that situation as it's not enough to feed a jet from my tests, which is why I yanked it off and went for the big guns lol. I don't have patience for tinkering jets lol. Also this is a proof of concept so changes may happen later.

Id like to figure out how to make a saber engine but haven't yet. The concept of an air breathing jet that has a closed cycle mode is interesting but hard to sort in game. Kerbal had a dedicated variation of it,wish juno would add one. And fuel lines. I think a saber would have been a nice addition to this build since it is a tad overpowered if I'm honest lol.
