Estella class Fighter

The Estella class fighter (named after Terrius's parent) is a fighter of the commonwealth particularly used for patrolling and ambushing pirate stations. It sports a central plasma cannon (fires in bursts) and 4 semi guided missiles. Its semi guided missiles are often used against larger vessels like frigates and cruisers in order to weaken their shields or hull. Its plasma cannon is focused on ships its size and smaller. Its evasiveness and lightweight allow it to strafe easily often making it the victor in dogfight scenarios. Just 1 squadron of these can destroy a pirate factions loot station due to their missiles and plasma cannons. Like most commonwealth military vessels, this ship sports a pair of solar panels
