NEO P-01 Sherman

Cheap, fast, modular, what more could you ask for? The internally designated P-01 Sherman (Known in the US Air Force as the F-54) is mainly known as being the first privately funded, developed, and tested 5th gen fighter. It was sold to the US, Britain, Canada, and Germany as tensions on Russia’s Western borders rose again, because of larger and larger skirmishes happening at road blocks and border crossings. It was mainly designed for high altitude, high speed recon missions, but in a pinch, worked extremely well defensively, because of its astronomical climb rate. While not used for very long, its descendants stretch far and wide throughout today’s world.

Performance

This plane was made to go up, wreak havoc, and come down, all cruising at a nice speed of over a kilometer a second. It sacrifices menouverablility for other attributes, and has a high service ceiling. It contains a relatively large weapons bay, and can hold some ordinance on its wings.

Notes

I made two unguided missiles for this project, with one of them having flat fins so that if you are going to use it (just credit me) the fins won’t attach to the surface or get stuck and go in a random direction. This also has my first attempt at custom landing gear.
