here's my submission for the contest. hopefully it ends out good lol 😭

1. "Just Me and You."

the idea behind this was to have that same feeling of nervousness and excitement captured through the lens. I felt the best way to do that was to have the "unknown" be represented by the night, while the thrill of piloting would be represented by the light coming from the aircraft.

2. "Feathers at Rest"

there's actually a lot going on here. more than the average eye might catch, at least.
each aircraft painted on the aircraft's body is a kill marker. Captain Mona (the pilot of this aircraft) has 2 kills against enemy fighters, and 3 kills against incoming cruise missiles, making her one of the more experienced pilots in her squadron.
the green strips are Formation Lights, and the canopy (and camera node on the bottom) is "golden" (a special material called Indium Tin Oxide) to help keep it stealth as well.
this image is really just showing off the canopy and intakes, but I still think it looks nice.

3. "There's a Monster!!"

The idea behind this one actually came from a song, "Don't Tap That Glass / Tweakin'" by Tyler the Creator, specifically line 3 of the chorus ("There's a monster in it, don't tap that glass"). when I heard about it, All I could think of was the F-9 pulling high AOA. so I threw on some smoke blowers, wired them up, and took the shot. I'm pretty happy with this outcome.
