Phalanx CIWS (Close-In Weapon System) - ship anti-aircraft artillery complex, designed for automatic protection against anti-ship missiles, aviation and small surface targets.
Developed in the United States in the late 1960s, entered service in 1980.
The complex is based on a six-barreled 20-mm M61A1 Vulcan automatic cannon, controlled by radar and optical sensors.
The system has a high rate of fire (up to 4,500 rounds per minute) and can respond to threats in fractions of a second.
It is used on ships of the US Navy and other countries, including the UK, Japan, and Canada.
The land-based version, LPWS, is used to protect bases from mortar and missile attacks.

@Lq11 no need to thank me, just enjoy the fame, i would want to suggest you to make a better use of this great build and build a PG-02 hydrofoil patrol ship to install it, no one has succesfully built that kind of ships and if you manage to do so, the community support is guaranteed, meanwhile ill wait until this craft gets out of the top for releasing the all new F-05 RazorBlade so i dont steal protagonism from you. hope that the upvotes dont stop growing unlike with my crafts which only get upvotes the first two days, however some still get some after months
