The Super Heavy Booster is the first stage super heavy rocket booster developed by SpaceX for the fully reusable launch system of the Starship, aimed at supporting deep space exploration, orbital launches, and future interstellar missions. The B15-2 super heavy booster was recovered after the eighth flight of Starship on March 7, 2025 Beijing time at the Boca Chica Starship Launch Base and was used for the eleventh flight of Starship on October 14, 2025 Beijing time, which was the last flight of the second-generation Starship and crashed into the Gulf of Mexico.
