The Type 53 is a rather large general purpose transport craft capable of very short takeoff & landing without using gyros (and being fully vanilla). Powered by four ST3 engines derived from Hokori system, albeit this one's uses more conventional layout. Has cockpit fans :D

• Slider 3 for cockpit fans (also must activate the marked AG)(only need to use S3 when on the ground)
• Activate bay first before deploying the ramps duhh.
Developed for operating in isolated areas, It was intended to be adaptable, able to lift off near-vertically, and land almost anywhere. These birds are famous for being rare, as seeing one usually means there's a "weird" activity nearby.
The word Mukudori (ムクドリ) usually refers to the white-cheeked grey starling. However, depending on context, it can also carry a slightly shady or dubious meaning.
This aircraft is named Mukudori because it does, in some way, resemble a grey starling — but considering that (from public perspective) most of these aircraft tend to operate in… oddly suspicious places, the double meaning feels rather appropriate.

So, in a nutshell
Without spoiler, very simplified..
basically
Most if not all known & contacted "alien"s and, human race are part of the result of a "genetic bank" and isolation on their planets, originally more-or-less slave species for a now practically extinct highly advanced species that also humanoid. Resulting all of them very... humanoid
And because humans are humans, war. Prob same stuff happened to other races, some managed to reverse engineer their creator's ship technologies, some GROWS their ship, and on earth solar system, mars suddenly terraformed due to a device from a shipwreck, this ignites the colonization effort, and after years and mutation adaptation formars residence, mars gained independence, beginning the interplanetary war between mars (mostly russian), using reverse engineered shipwrecks found there as the basis for their space fleet, and earth.
Later the war ended with earth winning and catching up in technology, mars is fully abandoned, their residence migrated back to earth, blabla peace years, 2145 yamato rebuild then safely scuttled specifically to remember the past where countries wage wars againts each other.Then first contact, UN fleet meets 3 green alien spaceship, the UN fires first because of direct order from earth, resulting in the justification of war and invasion of earth. underground cities build and repurposed from mars-earth war giant bunkers as earth is dying from asteroids weaponized by that same alien race in the first contact,
At this point the wreck of the rebuilt yamato is used as a cover for an escape ship to save the human race, that is until a small ship carrying a devicecrashlanding, with messages of its sender that they can save earth by going to their planet, retrieve smth important, and use it to restart earth back all in less than a year, using the device on the crashed ship to develop for faster than light travel, shield generator, and such, and humans being humans, managed to use that device as a weapon that can disintegrate whole planet. And finally, in 2199, the journey of the repurposed from escape ship, plot armor'd space yamato beginYh thats in a nutshell
