This is the first rocket product of Alpha Industry. We are pleased to launch the Alpha 2 rocket.
It has a powerful power system-seven Kerlin engines on the first stage and one enhanced Herlin engine on the second stage.
Kerlin engine uses liquid oxygen and RP1 while Herlin engine uses liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. Coupled with the large nozzle area ratio, the Herlin engine has a specific impulse of over 420 s.
The powerful Herlin engine also improved the carrying capacity of Alpha 2 rocket. Total ?v is 10.5km/s.It can transport a load of about 16 tons into low Droo orbit.
Most importantly, its price is very cheap! The rocket itself is only $24.6 million.
