The Virgo I Kick Stage known as Persephone is a small upper stage used for bigger sattelites final orbit insertion and orbital manuvers such as orbit raise, perfect orbit, and planetary transfers(maybe). And the RCS manuvering system can allow for even smaller manuvers like more perfect interplanetary transfers. Together with the H-vac Tiny engine which has a max thrust in vaccum of 15.3Kn, it can carry 9.44T+. The Kick stage weighs 5.83T but the Kick Stage and the Demosat weigh 9.44T the rocket has capacity for 5 sattelites with the kick stage or 1 bigger sattelite without the kick stage. Kick Stage version 2 with 4 15” payload adapters and 1 24” payload adapter coming January of next year. The Kick Stage currently has capacity for 4 10” payloads and 1 24” payload adapters or 2 15” payload adapters instead. We underwent testing of the kick stage on an Electron rocket in January and the test was successful we had a successful orbit insertion completion and then tested engine restart capabilities to get to a 1000km x 1000km orbit and then seperated RocketLab’s payload then we had a successful engine restart for a 4th time and successfully de orbited. We are currently waiting for the first and second stage static fire on October 25, and 26, 2025 the first stage static fire is going to be on Saturday October 25, at 9:00 am CT and second stage static fire is going to be on Sunday October 26, 2025 at 5:30 pm CT. Monday October 27 , 2025,at 5:30 pm CT is going to be our Fairing jettison test. And on Tuesday October 28, 2025, at 5:30 pm CT is going to be the Stage Seperation test. Our Demo-1 flight with the DemoSat-1 provided by our partners at HB sattelite Co. , is scheduled for NET November 1, 2025.THE ROCKETLAB STORY IS FICTION. Hope you enjoy!
