Rocket I’ve been working on for a day or two.
Stats:
~ 16km/s Δv
- Can fully orbit on main stage engines alone without using the vacuum stage & carrying a 300T payload in the fairing (with the SRBs of couse)
- Made it to a 130km Cylero orbit with 29% fuel remaining on vacuum stage (while carrying said 300T payload)
- Very heavy (havent checked mass Idk)
- Probably very pricey too
Some issues:
- SRBs are placed too high, and they overheat the fairing surrounding the main stage engine cluster. Will shift them down eventually. Turn down heat damage in settings if you can.
- No RCS, and Gyroscopes are pretty weak. Will add larger ones later.
- Flies fine with a payload, but without one it tends to flip if your gravity turn is too agressive. (Maybe an RCS/Gyro solution)
Ideal flight profile: (assuming 300T payload)
- Don’t start the gravity turn unyill you’ve cleared ~5km ASL and are going a little over 300m/s. (I like to start at 4.8km because this thing is sloooow)
- Gradually pitch over untill ~40 degrees at 35-40km with an apogee of ~120km.
- SRBs should be spent by now, so ditch them.
- Pitch to -10 degrees, and burn till circularised.
- If you did it right, it should be one continuous burn till orbit, with about 8% fuel left on the main stage. Use the ~8% to kickstart another burn, or deorbit the main stage and save the space dolphins. Your choice.
If I figure out how to program with vizzy I’ll add an auto-launch script. If you like the craft, and devide to do that yourself, upload it and tag me or something. That would be cool.

Oh yea FYI the 297T water tank I used in testing is still in the fairing so watch out :P
